Base pay range

$175,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr

Overview

We are seeking an Executive HR/COO leader with law firm experience and a passion for people, strategy, and growth. This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the executive leadership level of a multi-office law firm.

About the Role

As part of the executive team, you will oversee operations across 12 offices, supporting a team of 120 total employees. This is a people-centered, strategic role working closely with managing partners and office managers to drive performance, culture, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with firm leadership on attorney performance management, including setting guidelines and conducting evaluations
• Oversee and support office managers and attorney management across all locations
• Lead the firm’s marketing initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders
• Attend and prepare for firmwide management meetings
• Direct recruitment strategy and disciplinary actions
• Oversee insurance liability coverage and risk-related policies
• Supervise the Controller and IT Department, including cybersecurity protocols
• Manage event planning and safety program compliance across all offices
• Champion the firm’s technology upgrades and process improvements
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and open communication

Ideal Background

• Prior experience managing HR across multiple office locations in a law firm setting
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate confidently with diverse personalities
• Well-versed in IT functionality and implementation
• Comfortable working closely with executive leadership and partners
• Proven ability to handle high-stress environments with poise and professionalism
• Demonstrated success in implementing HR technology, driving recruitment, and overseeing compliance programs
