Overview I’m working on a really exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a top-tier investment team that sits right at the crossroads of finance, data, and technology . This isn’t your run-of-the-mill BA role — you’ll be part of a team that’s building and scaling a unique cloud-based data and analytics platform used to drive smarter investment decisions in private markets.
If you’re curious, detail-oriented, and enjoy solving problems that don’t always have a straightforward answer, this role will keep you challenged and growing. You’ll work with engineers, researchers, and investment professionals, helping to shape applications, onboard and structure datasets, and turn business needs into real, practical solutions.
This is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wants to be surrounded by bright people who are passionate about data, automation, and making an impact in finance.
Responsibilities Working closely with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into designs, tests, integrations, and system builds.
Partnering with investment teams, developers, and external vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
Building prototypes, digging into datasets, and testing functionality using SQL and Python.
Onboarding new datasets (structured & unstructured) and ensuring data quality.
Creating and maintaining project documentation, use cases, and technical writeups.
Supporting multiple projects at once, balancing detail with delivery.
Qualifications 5–7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in investment management or FinTech .
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills — you love digging into complexity and finding smart solutions.
Hands-on experience with SQL and Python (comfortable building quick prototypes and working with data).
Knowledge of IBOR or other investment data management systems is a big plus.
Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and data modeling concepts.
Bonus if you’ve worked with DevOps/CI/CD practices.
Why apply You’ll be part of a high-performing investment data & tech team with a clear impact on decision-making.
The environment is collaborative, energetic, and low-turnover — people join and stay because it’s a great place to build a career.
Hybrid setup (2–3 days in office) with flexibility built in.
A role that lets you flex both your technical and business skills , while keeping you at the heart of private markets innovation.
