As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will inspect, maintain, and repair intermodal chassis, trailers, and container equipment, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards. What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
• 1+ year(s) of experience as a mechanic
• Basic mechanical skills required; electrical diagnosis and welding experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated
• Must have own tools (some provided by the company)

What You'll Do as a Chassis Service Technician:

• Inspect and maintain intermodal chassis, trailers, and container equipment
• Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance on fleet equipment, including brakes, tires, bumpers, subframes, and more
• Conduct electrical diagnosis and welding as needed
• Maintain inventory of parts and ensure proper documentation of repairs
• Identify and source necessary replacement parts for repairs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Secure equipment during and after repairs
• Work independently while meeting company productivity and safety standards
