Hands-on experience in developing REST API and Microservices using Java /Spring Boot Good knowledge and hands-on experience in creating Open API spec per REST standards Strong understanding for deployment of API proxy on MuleSoft Flex Gateway Experience integrating with DB2, SOAP, Mainframe and REST services Familiarity with microservices architecture, design patterns and monitoring tools Conduct a comprehensive review, analysis, and discovery of current processes (business and technical/automated) as they pertain to Recovery Accounting (a.k.a Charge-offs) for Consumer Loans and Credit Cards Qualifications
Gather information, data, and insights into charge-offs to identify systems in use, points of contact, process gaps, and third party vendors Document and evaluate business processes for improvements Document and evaluate automated processes for improvements Read source code (mostly COBOL, JAVA, and Lotus Notes) to understand processes and document them in layman terms for a business audience Collaborate to define features for future development opportunities to create a new charge-off process for both Consumer Loans and Credit Cards Software Engineering Context
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. The software engineer builds skills and expertise to meet standard software engineering expectations for the applicable role and collaborates with other software engineers and stakeholders.
