We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Electrician to join our team at a brand-new industrial facility in Wilkesboro, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with underground electrical installations, conduit bending (including EMT), and industrial systems setup. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in an industrial setting.
• Perform underground electrical work including trenching, conduit installation, and cable pulling.
• Bend and install conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) according to specifications and blueprints.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Wire machines, control panels, and electrical systems in compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety compliance.
• Adhere to all OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
• Proven experience with underground electrical installations and conduit bending.
• Familiarity with PLC controls and industrial automation systems is a plus.
• Ability to work from heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• High school diploma or GED; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid electrician’s license or ability to obtain one in North Carolina.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
