Job Title: Duct Cleaner
Job Summary: The Duct Cleaner is responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining air duct systems, dryer vents, and HVAC components to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality indoor air. This role involves working in residential, commercial, and industrial settings to remove dust, debris, mold, and other contaminants from ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect HVAC ductwork, dryer vents, and exhaust systems for dust, debris, blockages, and damage.
Use specialized equipment such as vacuums, brushes, air whips, and power tools to clean ductwork and vents.
Safely handle and set up ladders, tools, and cleaning equipment.
Seal access panels and restore ductwork to proper working condition after cleaning.
Follow company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE (masks, gloves, respirators, etc.).
Communicate findings to customers and provide recommendations for system improvements or repairs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and vehicles.
Complete service documentation, work orders, and customer reports accurately.
Provide professional customer service and represent the company positively on every job site.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in HVAC, duct cleaning, or related field preferred (training may be provided).
Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders.
Basic mechanical and tool-handling skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Physically fit; able to lift 50+ lbs.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record (required by most employers).
