About the Opportunity

The

Technology Systems Manager

plays a critical role in supporting Intrinsic’s mission by ensuring that all technical systems and devices function efficiently and effectively across both campuses. This person will be responsible for managing hardware and software systems, maintaining network infrastructure, working with external vendors, and supporting students and staff with day-to-day technical needs. The ideal candidate will be a solutions-oriented, tech-savvy team player who thrives in a fast-paced, school-based environment. Key Responsibilities:

Hardware & Software Support

Manage IT Management Platform for device inventory, deployment, repairs, and upgrades for both students and staff. Maintain and manage a loaner device program. Create and update user guides for common hardware/software issues. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date fixed asset inventory. Oversee other tech hardware (e.g., VR headsets, printers, scanners). Maintain and update software images for Mac and Windows devices. Ensure student devices are prepared and functional for standardized testing. Support Chrome OS updates and guide staff/students on new features or changes. Collaborate on and manage the hardware budget in coordination with Director of Operations. Network Systems & Vendor Management

Manage relationships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Troubleshoot network issues internally and escalate when needed. Administer the phone system (WebEx), including account and device management. Assist in managing the network systems budget and contracts with external vendors. Security

Maintain databases for student/staff IDs and key fobs. Manage Keyscan Reader Access across both campuses. Support ongoing implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity and physical security systems. Campus & Cross-Campus Support

Communicate with school leadership to assess and meet technical needs for events and instruction. Provide in-classroom technical support to staff and students. Respond to Helpdesk tickets promptly with clear communication and thorough resolutions. Partner with the Tech and Data team to support school systems including SIS (PowerSchool, ASPEN), Clever, and instructional software platforms (e.g., IXL, Khan Academy). Collaborate with cross-campus teams and contribute to planning and professional development. Stay current on new systems and emerging technologies relevant to school operations. Attend staff meetings and school events as needed.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in a hardware or IT support role. Experience with Google Workspace and Active Directory. Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. High commitment to customer service and user support. Effective communicator with the ability to explain complex tech issues in simple terms. Willingness to receive and act on feedback for continuous improvement. Strong sense of ownership and leadership in managing technical systems. Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Ability to travel between both school campuses.
