We are seeking a reliable and skilled Food Truck Driver to join our Stick Talk team. The Food Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mobile hibachi kitchen. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and has a strong understanding of food safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation of Food Truck:
- Drive the Stick Talk food truck safely and responsibly to various locations in the Houston area.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Set-Up and Breakdown:
- Assist in the set-up and breakdown of the hibachi station and equipment at each location.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the food truck before, during, and after service.
- Customer Service:
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Food Preparation:
- Collaborate with the hibachi chef to prepare and cook food items on the truck.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of food and supplies on the truck.
- Report any inventory shortages or issues promptly.
- Cash Handling:
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Keep track of sales and provide daily reports to the management team.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in food truck operations or a similar role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
