Job Summary

The Truck Driver is responsible for hauling materials and equipment to and from job sites. Drivers may also assist crews by offloading materials at various locations within a work site to increase job efficiency. This position supports the Line team and collaborates with personnel across departments.

Responsibilities

• Haul equipment and materials to and from the job site as well as from pole to pole safely.
• Perform all groundwork, preparing necessary materials for Linemen.
• Prepare safe work zones with the use of signs, cones, etc.
• Assist in the training of new truck drivers.

Qualifications

Minimum

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license.
• Clean driving record.

Preferred

• 2 or more years of relevant driving experience.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a field environment. The role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 50 pounds), standing, and twisting. The role may involve working in inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. Vision requirements include the ability to judge distances and colors with precise hand-eye coordination.
