Overview

Our top retail client is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join their Media Insights Team, supporting strategic decision-making for their beverage portfolio. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with advanced analytics tools like Python and SQL to build predictive models and uncover consumer behavior trends, while also interpreting media performance drivers, attribution results, and translating insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders. They should connect analytical outputs to broader business impact, client use cases, and optimization strategies. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role bridges data science and business teams to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that inform marketing decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Build predictive models and analyze consumer behavior trends using Python and SQL.
  • Manage scalable data pipelines and host analytical workflows on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Develop Tableau dashboards to automate reporting and visualize key insights.
  • Evaluate marketing impact by comparing campaign performance and analyzing cross-channel behavior for clients.
  • Interpret attribution results and articulate media performance drivers to stakeholders.
  • Deliver actionable insights to inform client use cases and guide future campaign optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant analytical experience in media, marketing analytics, or consumer insights (agency, brand, publisher, or research side).
  • Background in media reporting types and campaign performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets and optimizing data workflows.
  • Expertise in dashboarding tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to bridge technical insights with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify insights, deep dive into data, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience with retail media platforms (e.g., Lowe’s, Best Buy, Amazon, Petco, Meta).
  • Python for data manipulation, modeling, and exploratory analysis.
  • Exposure to social media marketing.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $50-$55/hr USD. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Paid time off for sick leave or other leave is provided as applicable by law.
