Overview

Senior Data Analyst role at Guidehouse supporting the Chief of Staff for a major Program Executive Office (PEO) at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) with business analytics, financial analysis, and data visualization/ad hoc analytical reporting to monitor financial risks and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have PPBE experience, be able to summarize data for Executive audiences, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive, flexible mindset. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team and to translate business challenges into data solutions.

What You Will Do

• Support the Chief of Staff for a PEO at NGA with business analytics, financial analysis, and data visualizations or ad hoc reports.
• Monitor for financial risks and opportunities; closely track budget and spend plan in support of Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE).
• Leverage data management and process automation as needed for data-related improvements or non-financial data analysis related to program capabilities or office operations.
• Summarize data in visualizations for Executive audiences and communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and PEO leadership to translate business challenges into data solutions.

What You Will Need

• An active and maintained Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI) clearance; must upgrade and maintain TS/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of five (5)+ years of experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community customers, with at least two (2) years in data analytics and visualization

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server
• Programming experience with Python and SQL; understanding of data pipelines and creating new data frames
• Understanding of PPBE/government spend plan activities
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience working with Senior Government officials
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Experience with Jira
• Experience supporting NGA
