Overview

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring for a Residential Construction Worker - Plumbing in Central Florida. We are seeking general labor crew members with a focus in plumbing. If you are a skilled plumber or plumber assistant, apply today!

Responsibilities

• Run plumbing systems to plans in new manufactured homes
• Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems and other plumbing materials
• Install pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
• Install supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
• Assemble fittings and valves for installation
• Modify length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building
• Follow health and safety standards and comply with building codes
• Perform any other duties as requested

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience
• Ability to work well with others, take instruction and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Verbal and written communication skills to audiences both inside and outside the company
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading
• Good working knowledge of multiple jurisdictions and Florida building codes

Work Schedule

The typical work schedule is 5-6 days per week. All hours over 40 are paid at time and a half. Driver's license is not required but is preferred.

Starting Wage

The starting wage will be based on documented experience and skill set.
