Are you passionate about the construction industry and have a knack for overseeing intricate projects? We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced BAS Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the Building Automation System (BAS) projects from inception to completion. This role will involve working closely with a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure that project objectives are met within the agreed timeframes and budgets. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the construction industry and contribute to creating sustainable buildings of the future.
Responsibilities:
As a BAS Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and coordinating all aspects of BAS projects, including planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost.
2. Collaborating with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
3. Utilizing your expertise in Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, Distech to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
4. Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of BAS systems.
5. Providing technical guidance and support to the project team.
6. Ensuring compliance with all industry standards and regulations.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
8. Preparing and presenting project updates and progress reports to stakeholders.
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing new project management methodologies.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the role of BAS Project Manager, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, Distech.
3. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
5. A strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
6. Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
7. Proficiency in using project management software.
8. A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
