Job Summary:
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. This role ensures accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis to aid in business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in audits
• Maintain accurate documentation and support internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle), preferably Sage
