Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Our client is a global alternative asset manager. They seek a Fund Accountant to join their Dallas, TX office. This opportunity offers a hybrid schedule and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries for daily cash activities to ensure cash balances are up to date
• Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliations
• Produce and process wires and intercompany book transfers
• Complete detailed reconciliations and provide flux explanations of general ledger accounts
• Communicate with IT regarding fixed assets and maintain FAM within NetSuite
• Post underlying fund revenues and GP investment MTM, capital calls, and distributions
• Assist with CLO quarterly dividend and income reconciliation and reporting automation
• Maintain monthly and quarterly AUM as well as non-fee-paying AUM
• Handle placement fees as well as rebate wires and postings
• Understand ASC 842 lease accounting and applicable journal entries to record

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Public or combo accounting background
• Fund accounting experience preferred
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented
• CPA strongly preferred
• Skilled in NetSuite
