Overview
Senior Accountant – Lease Accounting (Salary Range: $75-80K base). LHH - Hybrid in Dallas, TX. This hybrid position focuses on general ledger, cash, and revenue accounting, with strong growth potential as the organization expands through acquisitions.
This role is with a client in the healthcare industry located in Dallas, TX. Requires an undergraduate degree in Accounting and at least two years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, data-driven environment. Experience with lease accounting and familiarity with ASC 842 is required.

Base pay
$75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Reconcile cash at various locations, identifying discrepancies between internal systems and actual deposits
- Complete monthly journal entries and assist in the month-end close process under US GAAP
- Prepare financial data reports by extracting and compiling information from bank statements and depository accounts
- Collaborate with corporate departments to investigate and resolve reconciling items
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation for accounting responsibilities
- Support internal control documentation and contribute to implementing best practices
- Identify and assist in driving process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency
- Create account analysis and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested
- Promote internal controls and efficiency through systems, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data lookups
- Comfortable handling large volumes of financial data
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and quick to learn new software
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
- Lease accounting experience preferred but not required
