Summary: Animal Medical Care Center is a two-doctor practice in Niles. We treat dogs, cats, exotics, and pocket pets. We are looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our team.

Base pay range

Veterinary Receptionist
Animal Medical Care Center, Niles, OH

Job Responsibilities

• Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing
• Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
• Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staff
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
• Update and file patient charts
• Enter data into computerized billing program
• Retrieve prescriptions
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items
• Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods
