Jones Networking is recruiting for an HR Assistant to join a large manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX. Base pay range: $47,000.00/yr - $52,000.00/yr

Reports to: Human Resources Manager

Status: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records.
• Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations.
• Assist with new employee onboarding.
• Support team members and management with issues or questions regarding general employment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
• Provide support to employees in various topics such as leaves, compensation, payroll, workers' compensation, etc.
• Support the company's culture and promote a safe, positive, and productive work environment.
• Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Human Resources experience working with non-exempt employees and supporting HR functions.
• Experience providing guidance and interpretation of HR policies and procedures to team members.
• Knowledge of EEO guidelines, federal, state, and local laws pertaining to employment law.
• Previous experience with coaching for performance and employee relations investigations is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
