Job Specifics

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Specialist to join our HR team. This role focuses on talent acquisition, new hire training, and employee benefits administration, with support in additional HR functions. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded HR professional who enhances candidate and employee experience and helps build our culture of community and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, and interview candidates for various roles.
  • Coordinate with candidates during the interview process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and schedule onboarding training.
  • Maintain, develop, and improve new hire training systems.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and renewals of health, dental, and vision insurance; serve as primary point of contact for benefit inquiries.
  • Assist with annual open enrollment processes and coordinate with internal stakeholders and insurance carriers.
  • Support benefits audits, reporting, and compliance documentation.
  • Support office events and All Team communications.
  • Assist in preparing and facilitating weekly All Team meetings.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in human resources
  • Experience building healthy culture and community
  • Warm, welcoming personality

Education & Certifications

  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Health & Life Insurance License - Bonus

This is an in-office position in downtown Indianapolis four days/week, with work from home Fridays.
