Duties
- You will develop, integrate, and implement solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
- You will establish precedents in application of problem-solving techniques to enhance existing processes.
- You will apply a wide range of advanced Human Resources Management principles, concepts, and practices sufficient to provide consultative services for a full spectrum of HR programs.
- You will provide advisory service or authoritative policy interpretations on highly complex federal or agency-wide policies.
- You will collaborate with management to employ change management process concepts and techniques that support strategic planning and effective workforce development.
- You will develop and manage information from automated HR databases and provide for the most efficient and effective automated systems approaches.
- You will interpret complex legislative, regulatory, and policy guidance to provide authoritative advisory service and develop authoritative policy interpretations.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 pay band or GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting and applying human resources (HR) laws, regulations, and policies to provide staffing and classification human resources (HR) management advisory and technical services; utilizing analytical methods to identify, evaluate, and mitigate problems; and experience utilizing automated information systems (e.g., Defense Civilian Personnel Data System, USA Staffing, HRLink) to execute HR business operations.
