Position Summary: The Spa Lead Therapist will oversee a team of therapists, ensuring exceptional spa services while also providing high-quality treatments. This role involves training and mentoring junior staff and actively shaping the spa’s treatment offerings to enhance the overall guest experience. What You’ll Be Doing: Service Delivery:

Provide a range of therapeutic services, including massages, body treatments, and specialized techniques, ensuring that all services meet the highest standards. Customize treatments based on individual client needs and preferences.

Team Leadership:

Lead, train, and mentor a team of massage therapists and estheticians, fostering collaboration and growth within the team. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and ensure continuous learning.

Guest Experience:

Ensure guests receive a warm welcome and personalized care throughout their spa visit, with clear communication about treatments. Gather guest feedback and implement improvements to elevate their experience.

Operations Management:

Assist with scheduling and coordinating therapist appointments to ensure optimal coverage and service delivery efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall spa operations.

Treatment Development:

Stay informed about industry trends and integrate new modalities and techniques into our service offerings. Contribute to the development of spa treatment menus and promotional packages.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.

Performance Monitoring:

Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing constructive feedback and recognizing exceptional service. Assist in conducting performance reviews and setting goals for team members.

What We’re Looking For: Education: Completion of a recognized massage therapy program and

certification/license

in massage therapy as required by state regulations. Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a massage therapist, with prior leadership or supervisory experience in a spa environment preferred. Strong knowledge of various massage techniques and body treatments, with the ability to customize services based on guest needs. Skills: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
