Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT, RCIS, BLS, and at least 1 year of experience for day shifts in a cardiac catheterization setting. Responsibilities Work in a cardiac catheterization lab with 2 procedure rooms Average daily caseload of 5 cases Procedures include left/right heart caths, pacemaker/ICD implantation, loop recorder implants, peripheral vascular interventions, and STEMI interventions Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-call required for 12 days per month, including 1-2 weekends per month No weekend shifts required outside of on-call rotation No floating outside scope EPIC charting system experience required Scrubs are provided for this unit First-time travelers will be considered, but travel experience is preferred One RTO request permitted per contract No neuro or IR experience required Pre-assignment modules required and completed pre-start All travelers will undergo an OSHA respirator clearance and must be clean shaven for FIT testing Free parking is available in any unrestricted space Candidates cannot work past 1 year; a 6-month break is required before returning as a traveler Requirements Active ARRT and RCIS certifications required BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Illinois state license required (pending accepted); license required if applicable Minimum of 1 year of recent cath lab experience Experience with EPIC EMR required Ability to participate in on-call rotation Must live more than 70 miles from facility; no local candidates accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-605328.
