Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of acute care experience and current BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and Fluoro Permit for a diverse interventional role. Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based cath lab with 4 procedure rooms supporting cardiac, interventional neuro, vascular, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology cases Procedures include STEMI, TAVR/TMVR, Watchman, MitraClip, diagnostic and interventional cardiology, neuro, and VTE thrombectomy Monday through Friday day shifts (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with weekday and weekend call responsibilities Float between specialties within the lab and may be required to float to other facilities within the state Epic EMR is used and experience is required Scrub attire provided for cath lab staff Support cardiac, neuro, and vascular interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team Must be willing to float within all modalities of the cath lab and potentially to other facilities within the state All requested time off must be clearly stated at the time of application Expect to work at least three of the five major winter holidays Locals accepted at a reduced pay rate if living within a 50-mile radius Former employees may return after a three-month waiting period Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start First-time travelers are welcome to apply Requirements Minimum of 1 year recent acute care cath lab experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Current ARRT and Fluoroscopy Permit required; RCIS not accepted Stroke or interventional radiology experience is preferred Current state license required if applicable (CA license must be in hand if required) Ability to take call including weekends Must provide two supervisory references from the past three years LA City Fire Safety card issued within the last 30 days is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-604815.
