Then you may be our new:

*Senior Process Engineer*

The Senior Process Engineer role will be interested in how and why things work. They will support and develop defined sections of manufacturing to achieve safety, quality and maximum utilization of equipment within a plant.

While your primary focus will be on implementing the operational development of assigned sections of manufacturing, you will also be driving a high-performance culture within our Process Engineering team. As a member of the Operations team, you will have an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of the manufacturing site and company in multiple ways.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Provide daily process support for machines, projects, and equipment reliability. * Analyze, design, develop, and implement cost-effective production methods and technologies. * Lead new equipment start-ups, trials, and automation projects. * Drive cost control, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Implement and monitor process control systems, SPC, and Suominen OPEX procedures. * Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, shop floor issues, and customer complaints. * Review design drawings for manufacturability, cost optimization, and new product support. * Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and work instructions. * Participate in Best Practice teams and provide backup support to plant leadership. * Support autonomous maintenance and long-term equipment reliability improvements.

*Qualifications:*

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. * 3–5 years’ experience in non-woven or related manufacturing environment. * Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software. * Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing; Six Sigma certification preferred. * Experience with capital project management, equipment start-ups, and reliability improvements. * Skilled in production inspection vision systems and production control programs. * Proven success leading continuous improvement initiatives and teams. * Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. * SAP or similar ERP experience a plus. * Hands-on experience with heavy industrial machinery in a manufacturing environment * Non-wovens or paper manufacturing experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
