Shipping & Receiving Worker: Monticello, Wisconsin
Join a trusted leader in the cheese industry with a legacy of excellence dating back to 1863. Our client is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Worker to support our growing team during 2nd shift. This vital role helps ensure an efficient and organized flow of materials for both production and distribution.
Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Worker:
Organization & Storage:
Maintain and organize storage areas and coolers for maximum efficiency. Ensure materials are stored in a systematic way to support production and shipping operations. Keep racks updated with accurate tags for inventory precision. Receiving & Shipping:
Help unload and load trucks. Verify tags on incoming and outgoing skids to ensure accuracy. Prepare for incoming products to expedite the receiving process. Order Picking & Production Support:
Pull materials needed for production orders. Coordinate with production and shipping teams to maintain material flow. Safety & Equipment Operation:
Operate warehousing equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor cooler temperatures daily and report concerns to maintenance promptly. Shipping & Receiving Worker Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and stay highly organized. Strong attention to detail for verifying and updating tags. Physically able to lift and move materials as needed. Comfortable working in cooler storage environments. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus but not required. Pay for
