MRI Technologist, 4x10's Days Trinity Health
Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift (4x10s) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday; rotating based on department needs. May require weekends and holidays and on-call coverage. Location: Burr Ridge / Oak Brook Terrace (LUMC campus vicinity) Overview: The MRI Technologist performs diagnostic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, applying magnetic resonance techniques to provide high-quality diagnostic information for physicians. Responsibilities Under the direction of a radiologist, performs MRI procedures to obtain optimal images for interpretation. Prepare imaging suite equipment, procedural trays, and supplies; maintain a safe, efficient environment and promote the best patient experience. Demonstrate knowledge and competence in use and troubleshooting of MRI equipment. Inspect procedure room daily for supplies; restock as needed; ensure room cleanliness; assist with administration of contrast media per department guidelines.
Required Qualifications Minimum: Associate Degree (AAS in Radiologic Technology) Licensure/Certifications: MRI Tech, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and/or ARMRIT; CPR (AHA)
Preferred/Additional Details Experience with MRI procedures and attention to patient care Ability to work independently with judgment, initiative, and patient safety in mind
