Tessera is hiring a Production Control Technician to support BMC at USAFA. Youll manage work orders in Maximo, assist with scheduling, and keep teams informed. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Collect and verify operational data to support accurate shop performance.

Cross-check time and attendance sheets with payroll and work control systems.

Maintain accurate records of facility and equipment maintenance activities.

Manage service orders by validating requests, assigning priorities, and entering them into Maximo.

Post labor and materials, update work order status, and close completed jobs in Maximo.

Communicate repair status to customers via phone, email, or in person.

Provide professional and courteous service at the order desk and over the phone.

Support supervisors and foremen with reliable data and production reports.

Review project documentation for billing accuracy and prepare service packets.

Record utility meter readings (electric, water, natural gas) as needed.

Perform gate operations and other facility access tasks when required.

Work alternating shifts to meet operational and mission needs.

Qualifications: 3-5 years experience in data processing or related field

Familiarity with maintenance tracking software such as Maximo or DMLSS

Ability to process and manage service orders across multiple platforms

Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills

Effective communication and customer service abilities

Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently

Team-oriented with initiative and reliability

Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements: A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
