Grocery Clerk Position
Join the Festival Foods team as a Grocery Clerk! As a Grocery Clerk, your role stocking makes grocery shopping easy and enjoyable for guests. You'll help keep shelves stocked, products fresh, and the store organized, ensuring guests can find what they need quickly and easily. Your attention to detail and friendly service help create a welcoming atmosphere where guests feel valued and supported. Your responsibilities will include: Providing excellent guest service Stocking and displaying products Offering assistance to guests Receiving and inventory support Collaborating with the grocery department manager and team Keeping the department clean and organized Addressing guest concerns with care and professionalism Ensuring shelves are fully stocked by designated times Meeting goals and honoring commitments Supporting the team with other duties as assigned To excel in the Grocery Clerk role, you'll bring: A helpful attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service Strong teamwork and communication skills Awareness of safety requirements and policies, including proper lifting techniques and box cutter safety Ability to operate equipment such as power jacks, fork lift, walk-behind lifts, balers, and compactors (training provided) Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to stand in place for long periods of time; work in a cooler, walk in the store; bend, stoop, and kneel regularly Full range of upper body motion to lift products Functional sensory abilities to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and operate equipment Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis Work Schedule: The Grocery Clerk I is a part-time position. The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a retail grocery store environment.
