Caring. Connecting. Growing together. In this Senior Full Stack Engineer role, you will be responsible for performing design, coding, unit testing and ensuring conformance to the teams development process and standards. Primary Responsibilities

Review of requirements and/or systems analysis documents for completeness Creation or involvement in documented designs following agreed to design patterns and standards Perform Coding and unit testing independently and assist or mentor team members whenever required Adherence to coding standards Communicate effectively with other engineers or QE and onshore team Support the QE team during testing via defect fixes, code deployment, clarifications Fully encourage and facilitate high quality code through support of QE team efforts including but not limited to mentoring, assistance, and writing or executing automation tests as needed Work with the Deployment Lead and peer developers to complete various project deployment activities Adhere to proper use of source control Ensure delivery of technical artifacts for each project Mentor developers on technology and application knowledge as needed Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any directives (such as transfers, re-assignments, shifts, flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives at its absolute discretion Required Qualifications

B.Tech or MCA or MSc or MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education; correspondence courses are not relevant) 8+ years of experience working with Java or J2EE technologies in full stack development Hands-on with Core Java or J2EE (Spring, Hibernate, MVC) Hands-on with an IDE (IntelliJ, Eclipse, RAD, etc.) Hands-on with REST-based web services Hands-on with AngularJS or Node.js or ReactJS Hands-on with SQL queries and MySQL experience Testing experience in JUnit or Spock or Groovy Solid Java programming (JDK1.8) experience Experience in Web services RESTful Experience using JUnit or Spock Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps initiatives Experience of working in a global environment Experience on Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA and JBoss Good working knowledge in Spring Framework and Spring MVC Thorough understanding of OOAD concepts Strong development experience with Spring Core, Spring JDBC, Rest Web services and MySQL Good working knowledge of Spring Framework Knowledge of SDLC processes Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills Proven good communication and presentation skills Proven good attitude and self-motivation Preferred Qualifications

Experience in jQuery or JSP or HTML5 or CSS Experience with Spring Boot, RabbitMQ Experience with microservices Experience with Subversion, Git and Maven Experience working in an Agile environment Experience with code quality tools like Sonar, Checkstyle, FindBugs Experience with DevOps and related toolset Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
