Food Service Associate
Responsible for the final preparation of all food items served in the food service area in accordance with guidelines and regulations. The role involves correctly portioning and plating food based on work instructions, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, and following all safety and sanitation procedures. The role is based in a kitchen environment inside a hospital, emphasizing teamwork to meet the dietary needs of patients, hospital staff, and visitors. The dress code includes black pants, a black shirt, and slip-resistant shoes. The work schedule is consistent, with shifts with hours from 6:30a/6:30p for the second shift. After becoming permanent, employees work every other weekend. The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr.
