Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Summary:
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with foundational knowledge in Information Technology (IT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This role is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, a strong interest in project management, and a desire to grow within an Agile environment.
As a Business Analyst, you will work directly with data scientists, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure AI and IT initiatives stay aligned with business goals and on track. You’ll assist with project tracking, Agile ceremonies, and communication across teams. Key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend and actively participate in Data Science and AI project meetings with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, ensuring tickets are up-to-date and accurately reflect project progress.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and capturing detailed meeting notes and action items, risks and blockers.
  • Create presentations and documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translate business needs into clear documentation and action items.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, support task prioritization, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Support Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, helping to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team and organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and IT systems or data analytics.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar project tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
