Position Summary:

Adventist Health Hanford is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonologist to join our outpatient and inpatient care team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about serving underserved communities and enjoys practicing full-spectrum pulmonary care. The incoming physician will work alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on whole-person care and long-term patient relationships.

This position offers a mix of outpatient pulmonary care and inpatient consultative services with the opportunity to perform bronchoscopies and other procedures at our modern hospital facility. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply , though it is not required.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive pulmonary evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep disorders

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and pulmonary function tests

  • Perform bronchoscopies and manage other pulmonary procedures (as credentialed)

  • Collaborate with internal medicine, critical care, and cardiology teams for coordinated care

  • Provide inpatient consults and follow-ups at Adventist Health Hanford

  • Participate in tumor board discussions as needed

  • Promote preventive care and patient education for long-term disease management

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine

  • California medical license or eligibility

  • Fellowship trained in Pulmonary Medicine

  • Must meet Adventist Health's Medical Staff credentialing standards

Benefits & Compensation:

Employment Model: Adventist Health Medical Group (AHMG)
Wage Scale: $330,000 - $400,000 (depending on experience)
