We are seeking General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments at various locations across California. Practice Overview: You will work in a supportive environment that values the contributions of healthcare professionals. The role involves conducting non-treatment exams, primarily interview-based, with some physical assessments, ensuring high-quality evaluations for Veterans.
Job Responsibilities:- Conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete medical reports and any required addendums in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on administrative tasks.
- Work on a PRN basis, with flexible scheduling options for day or full day shifts.
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine.
- Must hold an active and unrestricted medical license in California.
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
- Possess a laptop for documentation (no Mac/Apple products).
- California medical license.
- Board certification in relevant specialties preferred.
- AANP certification required.
