Title: Buyer Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $65K+ BOE Location: Dallas, TX 75228 Job Type: Full-time! Be a permanent employee from day one. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy balancing vendor relations, purchasing strategy, and hands-on use of J.D. Edwards to manage inventory and procurement. You'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring materials and supplies are secured on time and at the best terms, while working in a professional environment with strong benefits and a consistent Monday-Friday schedule. Responsibilities Purchase materials, supplies, and services at the most favorable terms. Track purchases, monitor vendor quality, and maintain a current vendor database. Create and manage purchase orders using J.D. Edwards to maintain proper inventory levels. Expedite and adjust orders as needed to support requirements and inventory needs. Communicate timely and effectively with suppliers. Address defective or unacceptable goods, services, or paperwork and participate in corrective action processes. Maintain accurate procurement records, including vendor information and receiving documentation. Keep the J.D. Edwards database updated and accurate. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned. Provide backup support to Sales and Customer Service call centers for overflow inbound calls. Qualifications Strong decision-making skills using available information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in J.D. Edwards software modules. Ability to multitask, anticipate needs, and stay organized. Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems. Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and well organized.
