*Job Summary*

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our legal team's plaintiff's personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to personal injury or medical malpractice litigation. This position requires excellent negotiation skills, the ability to perform thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and/or FileVine and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide legal advice and representation in the area of Personal Injury Law. * Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare legal documents, including discovery, briefs, and pleadings. * Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters. * Assist in litigation processes, including preparing for trials and hearings. * Conduct depositions and written discovery. * Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide support in case management. * Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures within the law office.
*Experience*
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. * Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction. * Experience or coursework in personal injury law is preferred. * Strong legal writing skills with experience in legal drafting and documentation. * Proficiency in using legal research tools such as LexisNexis. * Previous experience in a law office setting is advantageous. * Excellent communication skills with a focus on negotiation and client interaction.
