Disney Entertainment Television is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President of Casting of Hulu Originals and Freeform. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a passion for scripted casting and the entertainment industry.
As the Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the SVP of Casting by managing complex administrative tasks, anticipating needs, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including talent, agents, managers, and senior executives, while helping drive the success of the casting department.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-level administrative support to the SVP of Casting, including managing a dynamic calendar, coordinating meetings, rolling/tracking calls, maintaining contacts, and preparing for daily engagements
Act as a trusted liaison between the SVP of Casting and internal teams, talent representatives, and external partners
Handle all communications with professionalism and discretion, including phone calls, emails, and written correspondence
Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and logistics
Prepare and process expense reports in a timely manner
Draft, edit, and format presentations, casting memos, and other documents with accuracy and polish
Generate script coverage and character breakdowns, as well as talent brainstorm and picture lists
Track deadlines and deliverables across multiple casting projects and ensure timely follow-up
Support casting events, talent outreach, and internal presentations as needed
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
Provide general office support to the Casting team, including managing supplies and coordinating with facilities as needed
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of executive support experience, preferably in Casting, Talent, Agency, or Studio/Network environments
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with high-level executives, talent, and partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with steadfast follow-up habits
High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters
Self-starter with a dedicated mindset and strong organizational skills
Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and a proactive approach to managing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of executive support experience in entertainment within an agency, studio or casting agency
Familiarity with tools such as Keynote, SAP, Airtable, Pix, Cast It, Scenechronize is a plus
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $58,700.00 to $78,600.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
