This job is a member of the Global Marketing Team within the Integrated Marketing Strategy Division.
Responsible for managing marketing communications strategy for external partners (AAdvantage partners and other 3rd party partnerships), which includes owned channel planning and collaboration with other marketing teams. Primary objectives include: enhancing American's brand perception, building awareness of partner products/services and increasing revenue.
What you'll do
Works individually and with various teams to develop comprehensive marketing plans for various partner initiatives by acting as the primary point of contact in marketing
Evaluates the different marketing channels and the best way to execute across channels on a per campaign basis
Champions the brand's tone of voice in all marketing assets, including copy and creative - often requires copywriting work with the support of other teams
Builds Adobe dashboards to track marketing performance and develop insights from performance monitoring to deliver optimized future campaigns
Interacts and collaborates with other groups including Partnerships, AAdvantage Member Engagement, AAdvantage Cobrand, Digital Content, Sales, Legal, Corporate Communications - at all levels of the organization
Create owned channels marketing assets and submit for production/deployment
Project manages campaigns from start to finish and develops ongoing reports to deliver results for leadership
Owns MediaNet planning and billing, including placement management, approvals, placement valuation, and payment tracking with 3rd party partners
Must be willing to travel for business when needed

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business/marketing/advertising, or equivalent experience/training
2 years related work experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Prior experience working cross functionally across many different business units and with all levels of stakeholders
Prior experience with campaign management and working with AAdvantage partners and/or AAdvantage Cobrand
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Creative, visual thinking skills with an ability to think "outside the box"
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of the aviation industry and familiarity with American's Marketing organization
Some analytical and budgeting experience, with a desire to expand skills in this area
