Executive Assistant
The Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD) is seeking an Executive Assistant to manage the day-to-day operations of the Office of the Director and Deputy Director. Responsibilities include providing administrative assistance, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records, travel and calendar management, preparing agendas for meetings, and providing a high level of customer service. Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in customer service and administrative support. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to clearly communicate complex issues. Think, plan, well-organized, and perform strategically. Experience greeting clients and customers. Experience responding to inquiries of a non-technical nature. Impeccable attention to details. Excellent phone etiquette, discretion, and prioritization. Demonstrated time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Intermediate level proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Ability to learn. Able to travel to agency events when needed. Previous experience working within a fast paced call-center or office environment. Additional Considerations: Extensive administrative support experience. Previous executive assistant experience. Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficient, database management system).
