Front Desk Agent

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure by handling all front desk interactions with efficiency, professionalism, and warmth. This role ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests while supporting daily hotel operations. Essential Functions: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression. Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately, ensuring guest satisfaction. Manage reservations, process payments, and maintain accurate guest accounts. Answer guest inquiries, provide hotel information, and address complaints promptly and professionally. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to support smooth operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area. Provide accurate information about rooms, rates, amenities, and local recommendations. Promote teamwork, uphold service standards, and contribute to a safe and friendly work environment. Protect guest privacy by maintaining strict confidentiality of all personal and financial information. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive, customer servicefocused attitude with a passion for hospitality. Problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required. Proficiency in computer systems; knowledge of hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office is a plus. Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
