Hair Stylist
Hair Stylist position delivers professional, hair styling, coloring, cutting services to guests while ensuring a comfortable and relaxing spa experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures, and Nevada law. This is a commission + hourly rate position. Role and responsibilities include: (includes but is not limited to the following) Provide spa guests with a comfortable and relaxing spa experience while ensuring the utmost safety for our guests. Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., medications, allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service. Maintain the highest level of guest service by providing guests with a broad understanding of current techniques and procedures. Must be qualified and able to perform all treatments offered. Ensure uncompromising level of cleanliness of work area and/or treatment room at all times. Promote and sell spa/salon services including retail offerings related to the Spa. (Retail sales goals may be required.) Informs facility management of any member, guest, or facility issues. Is knowledgeable about the facility, the property and its amenities in order to effectively communicate with guests. Reports any incidents or accidents to a member of the management team. Other duties as assigned. Experience requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in a resort spa environment. Education requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a minimum of 1000 hours of licensed cosmetology school training. Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Desirables: Trained in hair extensions
