Administrative Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable using digital tools to manage administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and greeting visitors. Create, edit, and manage documents using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Maintain and update spreadsheets in Excel for inventory, scheduling, and reporting. Handle bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and account reconciliation. Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems. Coordinate internal and external communications, including email correspondence and document distribution. Manage office supplies and inventory. Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. Experience with QuickBooks, desktop or online. Familiarity with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, and Drive. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality. Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Work Environment
This position is based in an office setting within a meat processing company. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with options from 7 AM to 3 PM, 7 AM to 4 PM, or 8 AM to 5 PM. You will join a team of three other administrators, making you the fourth in the team. The company offers great benefits once full-time, including 401k, health, dental, and vision coverage. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, Kentucky. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
