We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager commands and coordinates multi-disciplined teams in collaboration with clients on the execution of projects within the packaging industry. Projects include standalone best-in-class machines as well as integrated packaging systems. The Project Manager is directly responsible for executing scope deliverables and for achieving or exceeding project financial projections. The position is located in our Alexandria, MN office.
Are you motivated about this work?
- Ensure that the engineering design, both electrical and mechanical meets the specification and follows approved concept on assigned projects.
- Attend design review meetings, tabling any concerns and acting on these concerns through close communication with the department managers.
- Follow procedures to determine the actual progress of each project, based on schedule, conformance to specification, risk analysis, budget and forecast.
- Responsible to facilitate the project teams on assigned projects to a successful completion, on time and within budget.
- Responsible to facilitate SCR's and RFC's through the PM processes.
- Responsible to facilitate all customer contact through the project life cycle.
- Active participant in the World Class customer check-out and project closure.
- Work with service and accounting to achieve project closure.
- Work with sales on commercial issues outside the scope of SCR's and RFC's.
- Seek and discover new products and processes that are applicable to our business.
Who we're looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- PMP certification or equivalent skills and performance.
- Proficient with MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Project Management.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- General knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, assembly, or programming practices.

Base Salary Range: $70,000-$95,000/year DOE
