The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and documenting all inbound and outbound shipments. This position ensures products are received accurately, stored properly, and shipped on time while maintaining inventory integrity and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities: Verify and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Unload, unpack, label, and route materials to appropriate storage areas. Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and shipping regulations. Generate and maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and inventory records. Coordinate with carriers, drivers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and pickups. Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts or physical inventories. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely. Keep shipping/receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Report discrepancies, damages, or delays to the supervisor promptly. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred. Familiarity with shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Forklift certification is preferred (or ability to obtain). physical demands/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS This position is located in a
manufacturing/production
environment. Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch Regularly required to stand for long periods of time Ability to work in proximity to moving, mechanical parts and machinery Intermittent exposure to cold or heat Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
