Project Manager Owner-operated custom home builder S&T Construction is searching for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager who will jump in to help this vibrant company grow to the next level. This PM will join the two owners as a key position that is integral to the growth of this small business. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and bilingual (English/Spanish) Project Manager to oversee the construction of custom homes and condominiums from groundbreaking to final walkthrough and warranty. You will be responsible for site supervision, managing timelines, budgets, material ordering, subcontractors, and assisting as requested with client communication to ensure each home meets our quality standards and is delivered on time and in budget. A large initial responsibility will be leading the building of 7 homes that are the first market-rate homes at the exciting new development called The Crossing . Location : Buena Vista, Colorado Status : Full-time, exempt Compensation : Salary bonuses equity opp. Starting total up to $100,000/yr DOE. Relocation bonus: Available if moving from more than 50 miles from Buena Vista. Benefits : Health insurance contributions if participating in group Key Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of custom home construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site crews through consistent presence on site Track and manage project schedules, budgets, invoices, purchase orders, and daily logs within the BuilderTrend project management platform Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and local permitting processes Conduct detailed review of orders prior to approval to ensure congruence with client expectations and project documents/plans/specifications Conduct regular quality assurance/quality control checks during each and every stage of construction Proactively communicate clearly in both English and Spanish with subcontractors, and team members Participate in weekly internal meetings and project updates Site supervision duties including material handling, receiving deliveries, site pickup, and dump runs Expectations ‘All-in’ mentality – we grow, fail, learn, and get better together! No task is below anyone in the company – pick up a broom, pick up trash, move materials, meet with clients, manage up to success. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Critical and proactive thinking and planning – anticipate the problems and needs before they happen Proactive communication – everyone should have the information they need without needing to ask for it Follow-through – do what you commit to and ask for help when you need it Work until the job is done – we care about work/life balance, not about 40 hours/wk. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in residential construction project management and/or site supervision Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred Strong knowledge of homebuilding best practices, sequencing, and permitting Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., Buildertrend or similar) Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to work on-site full time in Buena Vista, CO Ability to drive with and accurately back up a trailer Ability to consistently lift 75 pounds or more Work Environment This role will be based out of The Crossing development – jobsite trailer (heated/cooled with internet), jobsite walks, vendor visits, team meetings, etc. Work will include inclement weather and rugged terrain. This is a full-time position. We don’t focus on hours worked per day/week, we focus on whether the job is getting done, expectations are being met, and relationships are being honored. This mentality should shape every bit of the work environment! Office time and remote (including odd hours) coordination with vendors, delivery drivers, or subs will also be a part of your week. We’ll provide you with a computer, cell phone, and iPad. If a personal vehicle is needed, mileage will be reimbursed. Application Process We’re excited to meet you. Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act Disclosure The base salary for this position is up to $100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This position is eligible for a relocation bonus and standard company benefits. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and location.
