Job Description
Job Overview
Assist the Life Insurance Accounting Managers with the preparation of documentation for the daytoday life insurance accounting and finance transactions for ALAI, ALPR, AILBL, AILIL and BLWW. This includes the preparation of quarterly lead sheets and expenses details, supporting the life insurance consolidated financial statements, supporting the intercompany reconciliation process, the preparation of bank reconciliations, the day-to-day life insurance accounting, and supporting the finance team in any additional requirement or special project. The position will be responsible for assisting in the daily finance and accounting process in the lower risk areas and supporting other areas focus on development and career path forward.
Job Responsibilities
Development:
- Obtain accounting credentials for future development.
- Assist to all required trainings.
- Maintain an atmosphere of research and understanding of U.S. GAAP requirements.
Accounting & Analysis:
- Reconciling policy administration fee receipts
- Processing and reconciling introducer and reinsurance payments
- Performing monthly bank reconciliations
- Booking accruals using the Group Fee Allocation file from AIS
- Preparing and updating quarterly lead sheet roll forwards and completions
- Performing quarterly CSM cash flow reconciliations
- Recording intercompany transactions
- Preparing biweekly liquidity reports by entity
- Initiating introducer payments upon request from the CSM team
- Booking actuarial adjustments
- Support the preparation of the life insurance consolidated financial statements (fluxes, detail, etc.).
- Support the intercompany reconciliation process.
Statutory Audit:
- Support corporate and stand-alone entities audit schedules, prepare working papers and assist auditors with fieldwork.
- Ensure all aspects of the clients business is fully understood by auditors, and records and files are in order.

Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience
- Experience in accounting
- CPA or CPA in process
- Proficient in English communication, including writing, speaking, and reading.
