CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer III opening for our client in Wilmington, DE.

Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 12 months

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. This role serves as a principal designer for critical components, provides technical leadership, and ensures solutions are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior team members.

  • Drive migration of multi-tier applications to Azure Cloud.

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server, Angular, and WebForms.

  • Create and review technical specifications, test plans, and system documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and delivery goals.

  • Ensure adherence to development standards, security, and compliance requirements.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associate’s degree and 6+ years in systems analysis/application development, or 8+ years of equivalent work experience.

  • Strong experience in .NET Core 6+, .NET Framework 4.8, C#, Web API, ASP.NET WebForms, SQL Server, Angular, and GitLab.

  • Skilled in Entity Framework Core, unit testing/mocking tools, TDD, and data modeling.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud migration and DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Experience with banking application frameworks.

  • Knowledge of SOLID principles and clean coding practices.

  • Exposure to DocuSign, Filenet integrations, and dependency injection frameworks.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:
May lead project teams and mentor junior developers.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
