Healthcare Customer Service Representative – Call Center (Scheduling)
Location: Onsite – Fort Collins, CO Headquarters
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST
Contract-to-Hire: Typically converts between 6–9 months based on performance
About the Role:
Join a centralized call center team supporting multiple eye care clinics across Colorado. This is a full-time, onsite role focused on scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and providing exceptional service to established patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle 80–100 inbound calls/day from established patients
Schedule appointments across multiple clinics using a centralized system
Respond to voicemails via outbound calls and manage incoming emails during call downtimes
Verify insurance participation and answer non-urgent patient questions
Collaborate with doctors to optimize scheduling and triage optical issues
Deliver a welcoming and professional experience for every patient interaction
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of total call center experience
Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months of healthcare experience in a patient-facing role (front desk acceptable if high call volume)
Understanding of insurance verification and appointment scheduling workflows
Work Environment:
Onsite at Fort Collins HQ (not a clinic setting)
Office/cubicle setup – clean, modern, and professional
Remote work may be offered after conversion for top performers
Business casual dress code (jeans allowed on some days)
Overtime may be available but is rarely mandatory

Pay and Benefits
