Job Summary:
Our Military Engines – Integrated Customer Solutions (ICS) team has a rare opportunity for an Associate Director, F135 Strategy. We are looking for a strategic thinker and cross functional leader to collaborate with the F135 program in leading a cross-functional team to support strategy development and business acquisition campaigns for engine sustainment.
This role reports to the F135 Domestic Integrated Customer Solutions Director.
What You Will Do:
Serve as principal ICS representative collaborating with the F135 Program to develop strategies and customer solutions to achieve goals aligned with the F135 Program and the customer. Assess customer requirements, create, analyze, execute, and articulate innovative solutions to issues that smartly leverage core strengths to obtain the desired outcome.
Conduct analysis and develop business strategies for proposals and campaigns in order to best position P&W and the F135 Program for the future.
Conduct forward-looking market assessments, support business case analyses and affordability initiatives.
In coordination with the F135 Program, support the successful preparation and negotiation of engine proposals.
Develop business strategy-related messaging framework. Develop key strategic messaging and provide written and verbal briefs to key internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct research and provide analysis of DoD customer program requirements, budgets, and acquisition priorities. Monitor industry and Government actions and report on trends that will impact our strategy.
Utilize and manage the required internal tool sets to track the pipeline of opportunities for the business and ensure the necessary organizational objectives are met.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree required and 12+ years of overall experience in any of the following areas: business development, program management, finance, contracting, program support, or business support; OR an Advanced Degree (MBA) with 10 + years of overall experience in the aforementioned areas.
You must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
5+ years of experience within an aerospace production and/or sustainment environment and good understanding of business models.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
5+ years of business development or contracting experience in combination of government or defense.
1+ years of experience leading cross functional teams and working in a matrixed organizational structure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and military service aviation propulsion program requirements
Experience with the F135 Program.
A collaborative team player, who possesses multi-tasking abilities, has a client focus, is an adaptive self-starter, and works effectively with minimal supervision in a time sensitive and dynamic environment.
A firm understanding of U.S. military service organizational structure, Government acquisition process, and relationship to requirements generation and acquisition of P&W products.
Strong analytical, project management, interpersonal, leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
Business development and/or contracting experience with FAR 12, FAR 15 and OTA.
Experience negotiating government/DoD contracts.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
