Our client, a leader in AR/VR product development and motion capture research, is seeking a Data Collection Technician to join their team. As a Data Collection Technician, you will be part of the Data Operations team supporting innovative motion capture projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and technical curiosity, which will align successfully in the organization.
Data Collection Technician
Oceanside, California
3 month contract with possible extension
Part-time -
3:30pm to 7:30pm PST
Pay Range:
$25 per hour
What's the Job?
Document hardware and software procedures for motion capture labs and train team members on proper procedures
Conduct internal research studies, including sourcing participants, guiding them through procedures, and collecting data while maintaining confidentiality
Compose detailed reports, identify trends and issues, and provide feedback to support project success
Develop, manage, and implement data evaluation tools and systems for continuous improvement
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, communicate progress, and coordinate resolutions with internal and external teams
What's Needed?
Bachelor's degree in technology, behavioral science, or related fields such as human-computer interaction, psychology, or information systems
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Experience with personal computers, hardware builds, and software installation
Understanding of basic internal networks and command line tools
