Parksite is looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team! The Warehouse Associate will operate a forklift in our distribution center and pick orders using the voice picking system. Assist shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise, and perform other related duties.

Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for following policies outlined in the current procedures manual. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the Parksite Warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with shipping and receiving, unload trucks, check in merchandise, match purchase orders to sales orders, and distribute items to appropriate staff for processing.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked, checked, and shipped.
  • Label new inbound items with SKU and move them from receiving to storage areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined criteria such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Pick orders using VoCollect, a voice picking technology.
  • Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for staff and customers.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Record received or distributed materials or items through appropriate processes.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Perform facilities maintenance duties as assigned.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping.
  • Wear proper safety equipment at all times.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Voice picking experience is a plus.
  • Experience with lumber or building products.
  • Experience in receiving and inventory control.
